Lore & origins

Deep within the shifting crystal forests of Sortiarius, the Planet of the Sorcerers, dwell savage tribes of Tzaangors—avian-featured Beastmen blessed by Tzeentch with keen cunning and an obsessive hunger for knowledge and arcane artefacts. Unlike the brutish Beastmen of other worlds, Tzaangors revere the Exalted Sorcerers of the Thousand Sons as living demigods. Some are born from mutated human stock, while others are former Imperial scholars or cultists deliberately transformed by Tzeentchian sorcery; the most favoured become Tzaangor Enlightened and Skyfires, soaring into battle atop shrieking Discs of Tzeentch.
